Our Story

Bethnal Green Nature Reserve

Bethnal Green Nature Reserve is a cultural institute dedicated to ecological research and community learning in East London. We host residencies, public programmes and collaborative projects that connect people with nature and strengthen local resilience.

Our team co-creates with residents and partners, honouring local knowledge and diverse ecosystems. Since 1977 we have cared for this WW2 bomb-site, building a living space where plants, wildlife, and people can learn, garden and thrive together.
