Our Story

Monkton Nature Reserve, Kent

Monkton Nature Reserve is a charitable trust protecting chalk grassland and providing education about the natural world. We welcome visitors, volunteers and schools to experience wildlife, guided walks and hands-on learning in Kent.

Managed by the Thanet Countryside Trust, we blend conservation with engaging outreach, offering community programmes and accessible opportunities to explore our unique chalk habitat and its remarkable flora and fauna.
